Our little tadpoles will be diving into shapes, colors and their ABC’s and 123’s. As their teacher, my goal this year is that our “pad” will become a place of “hands-on” learning, while having a leaping good time! News from the Hive by Miss Sonia Room 2: What’s Buzzing in Room 2...There’s a swarm of activity going on this year! Our new Pre-K students are going to be some busy bees. Our main goals this year are writing and letter sound and recognition. We are going to be working hard, while having fun becoming the best worker bees we can. Stay tuned for more news from the hive. Kindergarten News by Miss Lynn Room 4: I am excited to be your child's teacher this year! Kindergarten is a time of new beginnings and learning new things. This year, my Kindergarteners are going bananas for learning. We will be “monkeying” around in the jungle of learning focusing on Reading Readiness, Math, Arts, Writing, Social Studies and Science. With all this monkey business going on, we are sure to have a great year. Homework Club by Miss Amber Room 3: The homework club is a place that your child will enjoy. Not only will they play outside, but we will make sure that their homework is also done! Also, if your child needs help with any sports or activities we will be here for them. Monthly Pick-up News by Miss Sandy: So, we’re back into a New School Year already. I always enjoy hearing what kind of day my little riders have had. Please make sure you keep that seat belt on until our van comes to a complete stop!! Christian Curriculum: We use the A Beka Books Christian Curriculum. We have found this curriculum to have a back to basics approach to teaching. The students and teachers have found this curriculum fantastic at getting the results needed to succeed in teaching and learning all subjects. |
